Flagg Day, Saturday, August 28th, 2004, was a huge success, so thank you to everyone who came to support it. Approximately £1400 was raised towards the village hall refurbishment fund, and hopefully there should be more once all the childrens' sponsorship money is received. All sponsorship money should be handed in to Helen Naylor before Monday, 13th of September. Thanks also to everyone who gave prizes for the tombola, bottle bank etc., and to everyone who helped out to make the day a success.
